who’s stupid? i am!

I came very close to going to “lunch” today leaving my G-Mail open on my computer to a message from my friend K. entitled “i will stop calling you when i’m drunk.” Professional!

Sometimes I eat lunch with my friend C. in the park. Sometimes I eat at my desk and then walk around for about fifty minutes. Today I walked really far north on 9th Avenue hoping for clear sidewalks and thus reasonable speed. Didn’t happen. I am a frustrated Midtown power walker! What the hell did Melanie Griffith need her white tennis shoes for when there’s always a pack of tourists or some old dude with his lotto scratch-off or some asshole with a ponytail walking his minibike on the sidewalk slowing you down?
